Unique Features
Spine: Seven sets gold ribbing visible. Worn piece missing at upper right corner.
Spine Lettering and Label: Black ribbon present. Gold lettering visible but fading. Small piece missing from black ribbon at lower right corner.
Cover: Distinct marbling throughout cover with larger darker spot in upper right section. Wear on outer corners.
Binding: Spine/cover hinging intact with front endpaper. Front pastedown: Book plate sticker listing Peter A. Porter with picture of Niagara Falls. Another bookplate sticker listing Lockwood memorial library, University of Buffalo.
Title Page: Present. Triangular cockling upper right and left and lower left corners. Various discoloring and foxing.
Text: Full text block. Various Foxing. Water staining throughout volume near gutter edging.
